I attended online pregnancy class by Beyond Physiotherapy during my 28 weeks of pregnancy. I found it very useful and practical especially the exercises preparing for labour during pregnancy and during labour stages which were shared very detailed in the class. Yi jing corrected our sitting and standing positions one by one via zoom video call. My delivery was considerably smooth, unmedicated and relatively short eventhough that was my first baby. All these credited to the breathing and pelvic exercises that i have learnt from the pregnancy class and did it frequently before and during my labour & delivery. Highly recommended for all mummy to be to join the pregnancy preparation class.

I was admitted to hospital for induction of labour. When I felt the contraction, I just repeated the "lift& tuck" posture (as there is not much space in general hospital for me to do other postures). During active labour stage, I kept telling myself "belly big belly hard and push, keep breathing" like what Yi Jing taught, it worked! This is my first baby. From insert of Foley bulb for induction of labour until active labour stage, it spent about 8-9 hours. So glad that I survived without using any painkiller (not even laughing gas as it is not allowed during the Covid pandemic) and partner was not allowed to be there too

I'm at my 3rd trimester pregnant and having sciatic nerve pain for 2 months. I couldn't sleep on my left or right sides for too long because of the pain. The only sleeping position I felt comfortable was half sitting up which caused new pain in my tailbone. I attended Yi Jing's online workshop for pregnant mommy and tried her methods, it has greatly alleviated the tailbone issue. I got more help from her through online consultation where she patiently pointed out the issues of my gesture, some mistakes in physio exercises, and she taught me more exercises to relief my sciatic nerve pain. After few days of exercises, now I could sleep on left and right sides better and longer time without having to sleep in half sitting up position. Finally I could chill in the last few weeks of my pregnancy.

Hi expecting mamas, I am Yi Jing and I am a Women Health Physiotherapist. I started working in the pre & post natal field at the beginning of my physio career, at one of the largest hospitals in Hong Kong, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital about 10 years ago. I can still vividly recall the prenatal classes which were held on the first Saturday of every month, in a huge hall where 20-30 couples attended and worked on birth balls and I was there assisting my senior colleagues with mums getting into different positions and exercises.
I have since been working in specialist physio clinics in both HK and SG where I work 1 on 1 with pregnant and post-partum ladies. My expertise is in pre & post natal pain management, fitness & exercise as well as preparation for labour & delivery. Since returning to Malaysia early 2021, I started doing this Online Pregnancy Prep Class amidst the pandemic with the mission of educating, empowering and healing perinatal women during their very precious time in life.
I strongly believe it is essential for us to prepare our minds and bodies for the birth marathon. It truly makes a difference! This doesn't only give you a pain free pregnancy but also an easier birth and a faster recovery after birth.

Through Yi Jing’s detailed explanation of the root cause of all my problems, I have better awareness of my posture and movements in my daily life and feel more empowered to correct them. By following the simple exercise regimens that Yi Jing taught me, I was able to see improvements in my condition fairly quickly. Our sessions also involve preparation for the delivery for eg. pelvic floor muscles exercises, perineal massage, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques as well as postures to adopt during labour to manage pain and facilitate labour progression.
