A woman's body undergoes a wide range of changes during pregnancy. Pain is common during this period of time. Most pain can be managed and improved with prenatal physiotherapy. Indeed, this results in not only a more comfortable pregnancy but it also helps with labour and delivery as well as an easier recovery postpartum. 

 

Common pregnancy related pain:

  • Low back pain 

  • Sciatica/ leg numbness

  • Buttock / tailbone pain

  • Pelvic girdle pain 

  • Pubic symphysis pain

  • Lower abdominal pain/ round ligament pain

  • Rib pain
